Father's Day Gift Guide 2020

June 8, 2020

I love celebrating dads. Parenting is not an easy job. Being a dad is not an easy job. Unfortunately, it's often thankless and criticized and marginalized and unrecognized. I started The Daily Dad to help celebrate fatherhood and to challenge stereotypes. It's been an awesome experience to get to know so many incredible dads across the globe and to celebrate the unique role dads play in their children's lives. When we get an opportunity to celebrate dads, we absolutely should take it. Here are some ideas for you to get your dad in your life!

1. Manscaped Lawnmower 3.0 - $69.99 + 20% off!

Need a gift for a hairy dad (or if you're a little hairy yourself...) MANSCAPED has the right tools to get the job done quickly, safely, and hygienically. MANSCAPED’S LawnMower 3.0 groin and body trimmer is a gift that is for both you and your dad. This cordless 3rd generation men’s grooming tool rocks a rapid charging 7,000 RPM motor and  SkinSafe™ tech to shear quickly, quietly, and efficiently through thick thatches of hair, all while reducing painful cuts and tugs on your most precious area. 18 months of research and development went into making the LawnMower 3.0 the best trimmer. Make your dad proud this year and get him and yourself the MANSCAPED Lawn Mower 3.0! You know what they say… like father like son.

2. JBL Xtreme 2.0 - $249.99

If your dad loves music or podcasts and being on the go, then you gotta check out the JBL Xtreme 2.0! This thing is powerful! Not only does its waterproof design offer you beats on the go, it's 15 hour batter life let's you take it on adventure after adventure without needing to recharge it. It's carrying strap allows you to take it anywhere and the bottle opener allows you to have a good time when you get there! I love this gift for dads who also like to do yard work or putter around in a barn while listening to This American Life. Right now it's $100 off retail price if you buy directly from JBL.com and I highly recommend you get this for a dad who loves music (and may be getting a bit hard of hearing as it is!).

3. Dad's Fanny - $55.00

FannyPacks are in right now, especially for dads! Listen, nothing is worse than having to lug around a giant diaper bag with a few toys your kids will never play with and snacks from 2009 when you're just running to the grocery store or out for a bike ride with the kids. The main compartment features mesh pockets for storing diapers and wipes, with room in the middle to carry a snack, keys, sunscreen, or an extra onesie. The front pocket includes a slot for your cards, cash or drivers license. The pack also feature a hidden expansion pocket- perfect for a water bottle, jacket, baby bottle or snack container. There when you need it, out of sight when you don’t.

4. TerraPlanter - $59.00

The new TerraPlanter is an innovative solution to growing plants indoors. It holds water on the inside and diffuses it outwards, sustaining the plant that grows on the surface. This planter requires no soil or dirt … only water! Isn't that nuts! Its micro-texture was designed for plant roots to grip the surface and become one with the planter- but is also completely reusable! The TerraPlanter is made from 100% natural materials and it can be re-used with new plants any time. The TerraPlanter works with various types of plants, including chia, grass, begonia, ferns, moss, baby tears, and more. If you got a dad that likes something totally unique or if he loves having a little greenery in his office or at home, you gotta check this out!

Okay if you got gammer kids or if you're traveling a bunch and need something to keep you busy on the plane- you need to check out the new Nintendo Switch Lites. With its lite, sleek design, the system is ready to hit the road whenever you are. The Nintendo Switch Lite system plays the library of Nintendo Switch games that work in handheld held mode.I love that you can link up to eight Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite systems to play multiplayer games anywhere over local wireless connection. Think of how great it can be to play games with your kids instead of them disappearing to their rooms to play alone! From Animal Crossing to MarioKart 8 Deluxe, there are so many games you can play on these devices that will help pass quarantine with ease!

There's something about taking a shower in peace that makes that time so valuable! Harry's makes it even better with top of the line shaving products, shower gel, and shampoo and conditioner.
